In today’s economic climate, we are all seeking information and answers. In order to help you navigate this time, we will be conducting bi-weekly Zoom calls to review helpful information for you and your business. On each call we will gather a panel of local leaders to share their perspective on a particular theme and answer your questions.
We spoke with three locally owned retailers: Claire Calvin (The Porch, Alma Mexicana, and Canteen Market & Bistro), Keith Davis (Fleet Feet Winston-Salem and New Balance), and Sammy Gianopoulus (Fratelli’s Italian Steakhouse, Sammy G’s, and Three Bulls Tavern). Aubrey Linville and Meg Horvat chatted with them about their thoughts on the future of retail. They also be shared some ideas for how to support our local retailers and carry on the momentum of our great community!

Our final round table discussion in this series will be on June 3rd at 2:00pm. We will be circling back with our very first panelists: Mayor Allen Joines, Mark Owens of Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. and Jason Thiel of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership. The past two months have brought a number of changes in our city, so we will be following up with them on their thoughts about the current economic climate and what it means for our particular community.
